Artist's House in Aspremont

A contemporary house and artist’s studio in Aspremont, defined by its bold minimalist architecture and striking red exterior. The project preserves the original development concept while simplifying the building’s form and optimizing its floor area.

The studio was designed as a bright, open space with large glazed openings that provide abundant natural light and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The building integrates harmoniously into the terraced site, respecting the existing vegetation and traditional stone retaining walls.

This project combines living and creative work, where contemporary architecture becomes a backdrop for artistic practice.

Our scope of work included the architectural design, obtaining the building permit, and construction supervision. The extension was designed using a timber-frame structure, with particular attention given to architectural and construction details. A key feature of the project is the custom-made metal staircase, which reinforces the contemporary character of the interior and serves as a distinctive focal point within the space.
